Went to the Pratt Institute in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, and I walked around their campus. This sculpture by Phillip Grausman stands out, especially in the gray of winter. It’s called “Victoria & Eucantha.”

martin puryear at MoMA
Martin Puryear’s sculptures are on display in the main space at the MoMA. It’s mini-retrospective, and it takes over the entire space — all the way up into the five-story atrium. Amazing work.

Went to Lever House a few times this season to see the Damien Hirst installation School: The Archaeology Of Lost Desires, Comprehending Infinity And The Search For Knowledge. It was stunning. The lambs in tanks are the “students.”

serra at MoMA
I’ve been impressed by the MoMA lately. The wall drawing in the main space and the Richard Serra exhibit were amazing (the Serra is a once-in-a-lifetime exhibit: I highly recommend it). Inside the museum, the second floor includes Serra’s newer work which is absolutely amazing, and the six floor presents a retrospective of his [...]
